Remembering First Lady Betty Ford

Throughout history there have not been many people who have impacted the recovery community like the late First Lady Betty Ford. In many ways she broke the boundaries regarding what was acceptable to talk about when it came to the disease of addiction, cancer, and sex. Betty Ford deserves our respect and gratitude as we spend this week remembering a lady who was not afraid to speak out despite the social stigmas facing her.
